where did it come from?

There are roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today. Where did all of these languages come from? I find it interesting that there are so many distinct languages in the world. Although it makes me wonder where they all came from. How they all originated. I've done research and, according to three different source, there is too much controversy over what the first language ever spoken was. It can not be accurately traced back. I'm really intrigued by language and I would love to know where all language began, but I guess I will have to do more diligent research to try and come close to figuring things out.

  1. I never really thought about what the first language ever spoken was. But I do understand why it's controversial. A lot of people originated from many different places, so really they either didn't speak or found a way to communicate amongst eachother, but there had to be a language either way.

  2. That's crazy that no one can accurately trace when language was first spoken. Language has evolved so much over time and the fact what we don't even know where it first came from is nuts. I find it interesting too that we have so many languages! Hopefully one day they can figure it out!

  3. Latin is the oldest form of language we have in the modern world. Latin is sadly known as an almost extinct language. Not many people know how to fully speak Latin, but it's very useful for the SATs and if very helpful if you want to be a doctor or anyone in the science field. I think you should try to learn Latin.
